Latham on Thu, Sep 10, 2009 Eastern District Lutheran Church President will visit Trinity Scarsdale on October 4, 2009 The English District President/Bishop, the Reverend Dr. David Stechholz, will be paying Trinity Lutheran Church in Scarsdale an official visit on October 3rd and 4th. His visit will begin Saturday evening the 3rd with a dinner in his honor attended by members of the Church’s Board of Trustees. On Sunday, the Bishop will run the scheduled 9:00 AM Bible Study Class and will give a presentation on the role of the District. At the 10:00 AM service, he will share some of the duties of the Pastor including giving the Sermon. After the service, he will attend the Voter’s meeting which is scheduled for that day. The church will hold a brief Meet and Greet Reception in his honor after the meeting to give all of those in attendance a chance to speak with the Bishop.
